OUR STORY

Rooted in South American Botanicals

Oceite is modern beauty rooted in South American botanicals.

Founded by Peruvian-born Jessy Costas, Oceite grew from a desire to celebrate the botanical richness of South America through a contemporary beauty lens.

Inspired by her Peruvian roots, Jessy created Oceite to celebrate distinctive South American botanicals such as Maracujá, Sacha Inchi, Brazil Nut and Copaiba—bringing their character, origins and stories into modern beauty.

Oceite begins with these botanicals and their places of origin, then brings them into modern beauty through thoughtful formulation, sensorial textures and products designed for everyday life.

Why South America

South America is home to extraordinary botanical diversity, with plants whose oils, seeds, fruits and resins offer distinctive qualities for beauty and personal care.

Oceite puts these botanicals at the center—exploring where they come from, what makes them interesting and how they can be thoughtfully used in modern beauty.

Our Approach

We begin with South American botanicals—their characteristics, origins and stories—and bring them into modern beauty through thoughtful formulation.

From texture and absorption to scent and sensory experience, every element is considered with purpose. The result is products that feel beautiful to use while keeping the botanicals at the heart of the story.

Founded independently in New Jersey by Peruvian-born Jessy Costas, Oceite is a woman-owned, minority-owned and immigrant-founded small business.
